This Privacy Policy explains how Jordan Sales, operating as MidasQuote (a sole proprietorship) ("MidasQuote," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information. It applies to two different groups, and it's worth being clear about the difference:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Name, email, and login credentials (via Memberstack) | To create and secure your account |
| Billing details (via Stripe — we never see or store your full card number) | To process your subscription payments |
| Your shop's pricing, products, photos, and showroom configuration | To power your widget and dashboard |
| Support emails you send us | To help you and improve the Service |
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Name, email, phone number, and the project details they enter (room type, materials, measurements) | To generate their quote and deliver it to them and to the shop |
We also automatically collect basic technical information from anyone using our website, dashboard, or widget — such as IP address, browser type, and general usage data — mainly for security and to understand how the Service is used.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use a shop's customer data (widget visitor data) for our own marketing purposes.
We share information with the third-party providers that make the Service work (our "subprocessors"). We don't sell your data to anyone.
| Provider | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and billing |
| Memberstack | Account creation and login |
| Airtable | Storage of shop configuration and quote/lead data |
| Resend | Sending transactional emails |
| Cloudflare | Website/widget hosting and delivery |
| Webflow | Hosting of our marketing site |
A widget visitor's quote request is also, by design, shared with the specific shop whose widget they submitted it through — that's the whole point of the Service, and that shop is responsible for how it subsequently uses that lead.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership.
We keep account and quote data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 6.
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it — for example under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act, and under similar laws elsewhere (such as the GDPR in the EU/UK or state privacy laws in the U.S.) if they apply to you. To exercise any of these rights, email support@midasquote.com. If you're a widget visitor and want your information corrected or removed, you can also ask the shop you submitted it to directly, since they hold the underlying customer relationship.
Our website, dashboard, and widget may use cookies or similar local storage to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand basic usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Service may not work properly without them.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including relying on providers (Stripe, Memberstack, Airtable, Cloudflare) that maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We're based in Canada, but some of our service providers (for example, parts of Stripe's, Airtable's, or Cloudflare's infrastructure) may process or store data outside Canada, including in the United States. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know (such as by email or a dashboard notice) before they take effect.
